Not everyone who dresses up like a firefighter at age 5 for career day desires to physically fight fires when they grow up, but they can still pursue work in a variety of fields to assist fire fighters and support fire prevention and safety ranging from apprenticeship programs and community college certifications to undergrad and graduate degrees focused on everything from aviation, textiles, and vehicles to arson, inspections and toys. Lots to discover you don’t know exists, including employers to work for. I barely scratch the surface but you will start to see how to look at the world of fire through the lens of career vision.
